Bizrate Rewards Review
Name: Bizrate Rewards
Founder: Farhad Mohit
Field: Survey sites
Overall Ranking: 20 Out of 100 (Check Out My #1 Recommendation, 98 Out of 100)
What is Bizrate Rewards all about?
Bizrate Rewards is a website which offers its members the opportunity to earn points by taking numerous surveys, and these points can be redeemed for gift cards from big brands. Bizrate Rewards basically gives you points as a reward for taking online/mobile surveys according to your selected interests.
How does Bizrate Rewards work?
Joining Bizrate Rewards is quite simple. You will need to sign up by providing your personal information (name, address, e-mail address, age) and completing the profile survey for you to start earning points. Bizrate Rewards ensures your profile survey is completed because that is the only way to filter and help you get your specific interests or opportunities. In other words, Bizrate Rewards uses the information provided to match you with the right opportunities (=interests). This is unlike most reward platforms where you can skip such information and come back to it later.
Another unique attribute about Bizrate Rewards is the non-availability of username and password, but rather all information are tied to your email address. There is no such thing as a login button on their website, which I find quite unusual but they claim it is to make the program very easy to use for everyone. Therefore, you don’t have to bother to login or logout, however, you can check your point balance by clicking the “CHECKPOINT BALANCE” button in the bottom area of their website.
When you become a member of Bizrate Rewards, your account will be credited automatically with 500 points. To start earning points on your own, you will have to check your email regularly for survey invitations sent by Bizrate Rewards. After taking a survey, you will be awarded between 100 to 5000 points depending on the subject and length of each survey.
Points earned will be automatically deposited in the account linked to your email address within 72 hours of completing a survey, and you can find a link to redeem your points within every emailed invitation sent, click the link and follow the on-screen invitation. I find the whole process to be straightforward and clearly stated, and you wouldn’t even need anybody to put you through to have a grasp of it.
I really didn’t like the fact that I could hardly find online reviews or forums about Bizrate Rewards, and the few I saw was filled with complaints which includes; email invitation links sent to members are often not available when clicked, and also few members claim it all started well but as time goes on they stopped getting surveys.
Our experience shows that this is what happens to 99,9% of people who try survey sites. At first, they are excited about the opportunity to make easy money but then they realize that it was just a waste of their time.

How Much Money Can You Make on Bizrate Rewards?
Just like other survey platforms, Bizrate Rewards isn’t any different. I see a lot of people expecting to make a living from this sites, but honestly, this sites won’t make you rich. You will work so hard and devote so much time to earn just a few bucks. Definitely not worth it.
Ok, let me explain better;
With Bizrate Rewards, you will receive 1 to 3 survey invitations per week. For each survey you take, you will earn anywhere from 5 points to 5000 points per survey (the longer the survey the more points you earn). So, let’s say you earn a maximum of 5000 points… looks pretty huge right? But really that is just $5, exactly 5 Cents per survey and this can take you a whole lot of time to earn.
Well, for some people ticking a few boxes and giving your opinion about some products for that amount probably isn’t so bad but I bet nobody can live on that, I don’t think so. This is because it is almost impossible to make up to 80$ to 100$ in a month partaking in Bizrate Rewards or any other survey platforms. You basically will be clicking your whole life away, because you will have to keep taking surveys made available to you each week and in most cases, there aren’t even enough surveys for everyone.
If you really want to make money online, have a look at these online opportunities or try right away my #1 recommendation which is giving me a paycheck as a passive income every month.
However, you can request payment when you reach 5,000 points = $5. Currently, Bizrate Rewards pays with gift cards which include: Amazon gift cards, Walmart gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, Target gift cards, iTunes gift cards, Restaurant gift cards, Retail E-vouchers, and home depot gift cards.
Who is Bizrate Rewards for?
Obviously, Bizrate Rewards has a low earning potential but I find it good for individuals who wants to make some extra bucks, especially those who often spend a lot of time online. (NOTE from Roope: This opinion was stated by my writer but I disagree.) Instead of wasting time surfing the internet on irrelevant stuff, this can earn you a couple of bucks but certainly, won’t make you rich.
The downside is that you can’t either earn passive income from survey sites if you are not referring new people in. However, that is not answering surveys but it’s called affiliate marketing. I know guys who have made even $1,400 for one sale with affiliate marketing and some of my friends are making +$10,000 every month.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- It is Free and easy to sign up.
- The website is easy to navigate and contains relevant information.
- They offer an extensive selection of gift cards from reputable brands.
- The mobile app is available.
Cons:
- Earnings on Bizrate Rewards are low.
- Survey invitations received per week is quite low.
- Misleading survey rewards.
- There are no means of contacting the support team.
- You can hardly find their reviews or forums online.
- Members complain that they will bombard you with lots of emails
Conclusion – Is Bizrate Rewards a Scam Or Legit?
Bizrate Rewards is no doubt a legit survey website, but you obviously cannot make a living of it. I merely see it as a way or means to earn extra cash, which at the end of the day may not be comparable to the amount of time you devote.

Have you tried Bizrate Rewards or other survey sites? Do did you end up in the same conclusion that I did? They are not worth it because it takes too much time to fill them out.
Leave a comment and I will be more than happy to follow up with you.
Quite more like a survey slavery site. I have never liked survey sites for the reasons you have highlighted above and more. Also I have mentioned here before that they swindled me as I took surveys that they never paid for.
I can however say that if one has the time they can try it out to get the first hand experience.
You are right. Survey sites are more like slavery sites than real money-making sites like Wealthy Affiliate.
I don’t expect to make a living by working on survey sites, GPT sites, forum posting, or any kind of reward sites. You can build real income online through affiliate marketing, selling ad space or through advertising networks on your own website. However, there is no harm in trying reward sites even if you don’t earn much. Every dollar earned contributes to your overall income.
I might check this out. Hopefully this is available in my location.
Yeah, I think we have discussed about this often 🙂
Maybe most blogs or review sites don’t have that much reviews about BizRate Rewards because they either never heard of it or have heard too many bad things about it.
Aside from being very time-consuming, I don’t like the misleading earning opportunities. That’s a major red flag to avoid. Any misleading policies or offers is definitely something to be avoided, otherwise you can try at your own risk.
The thing with most of these survey sites is not that they don’t pay much, but the time that they delay before sending one survey to those that registered on their website is frustrating. I mean that you get into a survey site where you discover that you have to wait so long before getting one survey question and even at that, you come to realize that the money paid after each survey is completed ain’t that big as well. This is simply not what anyone can depend on when considering making money on the internet.
Yeah, that’s also one drawback with online surveys. Also the earnings are so low compared to other ways to make money online.
The low earnings can be frustrating and that’s the reason you see some of the survey site owners promising heaven on Earth while when you register, you discover that you stay a week earning so little that you can’t even recoup money spent on data subscriptions working for them.
The only good thing I can possibly point out about Bizrate Rewards survey site is the availability of its mobile application in order to make its usage easier for people but anything other than this, all survey sites are ruined for its inability to pay good amount of money to those filling surveys on it. Using surveys sites to earn money online is only good if you feel like wasting your time and not getting paid something commensurate to the time spent on the site.
I just joined a survey site just about a week ago and it is my first. I noticed that the surveys are not really that many. Like for example i only got my first survey today and i was screened out because the survey was about xerox machines and copiers which i do not own. So imagine, one week, one survey, and was screened out.
Although i kinda understand why, because survey sites are only given surveys by people who wants to do a survey in a particular place. So if no survey was sent to survey sites, no surveys will be sent to it’s members like me. Although i understand, it doesn’t change the fact that it messes up the earning potential of someone who really wants to earn online.
Yeah, I just recommend staying away from survey sites. One reason is what you already mentioned that often you are disqualified from surveys. Other is that even though you would get accepted the rewards are extremely small compared to more profitable opportunities online.
Also for the fact that there is no way of possibly contacting the support on Bizrate Reward if a member on the site have any issues is one thing that should discourage any one from using the site. When there no support, the site has no face and working for a faceless entity is one of the wrong decisions anyone should make.
This is a helpful review. I’m familiar with online surveys and how little they give to its users.
It usually takes more than a month to make a few dollars. And that’s with consistent effort. It’s not a good way to earn money if you’re looking to have something sustainable. Most people who join survey sites are those living in Asian countries.
It’s sad. Though, it’s likely due to financial needs.
That’s true. Many Asian people join survey sites to earn a few dollars. There would be better opportunities out there so it’s kinda sad that people aren’t willing to go for them. I have advised many Asian people on how to make money online and I never recommend survey sites.
I know one Indonesian guy on Wealthy Affiliate who succeeded with affiliate marketing. I’m happy that he found WA instead of settling with survey sites.
Yup you’re right. It’s probably because of lack of knowledge on how to really earn real money online. Another reason for that is because, when people try to search ways on how to make money online, taking surveys really do come on the first page of the list. Not to mention videos online that misleads people to thinking that it is easy to earn through surveys. But in reality,it’s not and it’s slow, and it’s low. Total waste of time if you’re into making money online your full time job.
Good points. It’s sad that some are deceiving people with their videos and articles by exaggerating the potential of online surveys. They make some money from referrals but lose the integrity.
We can’t really blame the that join up with these survey sites as they might be unawares of better opportunities out there which can give them more money for working on the internet. This is one good I like about being a member of this site as I have come to realize that most survey sites don’t pay much.
It sounds like another survey site that is similar to the thousands if not millions already out there that are just not worth spending time on. The idea that it doesn’t use a username or password sounds weird but I guess it works well if each survey that gets sent to you has a link to cash out.
The fact that you said you found reviews about them where people have complained about not getting surveys after a while does not surprise me. A lot of survey sites do that once you get near their cashout amount.
Yeah, if we talk about earning money online, survey sites are just a joke most of the time. People usually try them for a while and quickly after realizing they aren’t worth the time.
Hi Roope!
Thanks for the tip! Here I was , having just joined WA thinking OMG I should have done this Bizzo thingo! Phew ! When i read on though it was clear where you were going with this and thankfully you recommended WA ! Im really new to it , only a little way into training but i think its great so far ! Ive had a few issues along the way but Im pleased to report that the claim that the WA community is always there to help is so true ! Ive had the best support that an old campaigner like me could ever hope for ! At 62 Ive fallen foul of a rogue (ex) partner who has left me with nothing so I seriously need to get onto something that works AND FAST !! LOL!!
Great review and could advice for new players such as me in this online marketing game !
Thanks
Ros
Hi Ros,
WA is a great opportunity. Experienced online entrepreneurs support you to succeed within the community and their training teaches all the principles you need to know about succeeding online. Of course, there will be temporary failures and mistakes along the way but that’s the part of success.
If you want to succeed fast, then you need to work ultimately hard and keep learning a lot.
Wealhty Affiliate is not a get rich quick scheme but I know some success stories about people who made $10,000/month income in a year or two.

Great review toward bizrate review and after reading it I have better precaution to stay out of it. 5000 points seems a but when converting to currency money I think many subscribers will be disappointed with the effort putting in. Especially their precious time.
I always wanted to earn money online and do you have any others suggestion beside of survey platform. I read that you do one-on-one coaching? Can I know more about it?

Hi Roope,
A great review, I’ve not heard of bizrate rewards before but I think everyone goes on an evolutionary journey when they start looking for a way to earn money from working online.
Surveys are a good place to start, but as you say in your article it quickly becomes clear that you can’t make a full time living from taking surveys or watching video clips.
I decided to make an investment in myself and learn how I can use the internet and affiliate marketing to replace income from a salaried job and work full time from home.
Wealthy Affiliate seems like a great option, could you tell me more about it?
Thank you
Hi Jenny,
yeah, online surveys are not worth it. Takes too much time for so little reward.
Wealthy Affiliate is an online business training and community. They teach you all the steps you need to know to have a successfull online business. There are also lots of helpful business owners who want to help you for free. They provide also domain hosting, keyword tool and other things you need.
All-in-all, it’s everything one needs to have a successful online business.
