Is Winning Lottery Method a Scam Or Can Richard Teach You How to Beat the Lottery?

Is Winning Lottery Method a Scam? You should always ask this question from yourself if somebody says that he knows how to hack the lottery. I know lots of profitable ways to make money online and I have made more than 200 reviews on different “make money online” products.

Several of those +200 have been lottery systems but I need to admit that all of them were scams. Gladly I have found also some products that teach you very simply how you can make a full-time income online. It requires work but I think that everybody who didn’t give up has succeeded with the methods that I use. You can have a look at my #1 recommendation by clicking the link below.

But now, let’s take a closer look at Winning Lottery Method.

What Is Winning Lottery Method?

Winning Lottery Method is a website created by Richard Lustig. He is a 7-time lottery winner from the United States. He has created a few “how to beat the lottery” systems because he thinks how you can win more often in the lotteries. We have already written a review of his product called Lottery Dominator which found out to be worthless.

Today we are going to take a look at his Book “Learn How To Increase Your Chances of Winning The Lottery” and his websites. Do his methods or is he fooling people with untruthful scams? You will find the answer in this review.

There has been already more than 540,000 page views on Richard Lustig’s Winning Lottery Method website, he has been featured on many different TV programs like news, talk shows, Good Morning America and so on. Richard said that he has also sold tens of thousands of copies of his book.

All in all, there has been a lot of hype around this guy. But I think that all of this is almost for nothing. Let me explain why.

7 Lottery “Jackpots” by Richard Lustig?

Richard loves to be in the spotlight saying he won 7 lottery jackpots. But I believe you would like to know what those 7 “jackpots” mean in reality.

His first big win was worth $10,000. If you count all his jackpots in total the value is around $1,000,000. So, there are a huge number of lotto winners who have won more money than this guy. His biggest jackpot was over $800,000 so you can quickly calculate that his other 6 winnings have been quite small.

Some of his 7 lotto jackpots were less than $5,000. In my opinion, we could honestly say that Richard Lustig won one big jackpot and then a few smaller ones. His title “7-time lottery winner” is very misleading. What do you think?

My Video Explains Why His Methods Won’t Work

I recorded a YouTube video where I quickly give 3 reasons why his methods just don’t increase your chances of earning money on the lotteries.

Here is a summary of those points:

1.46% of book reviews on Amazon give him only 1 star out of 5. That’s very rare because most of the famous book get on average more than 4 out of 5 stars. But most of the people were not satisfied at all with Richard’s book. They would like to get a refund if that would be possible.

2.It’s mathematically proven that you can’t beat the lottery. You can ask any mathematician or Ph.D. and I bet that all of them say that with playing the lottery you will lose money in the long run. You can also find videos on YouTube where Ph.D. mathematician are explaining that.

It’s interesting that even a 7-year-old schoolboy can understand this point but it’s hard to understand for some grown up adults. Well, a world is interesting of interesting people. 😉 Lottery is created so that the house always wins.

3.Richard’s book is only 30 pages. You can find all the content of this book in 5 minutes on the Internet. Why would you bother to pay $22 for that?

What Are Richard’s Secrets for Beating the Lottery?

One of the key tips of Richard is this: Never miss a drawing = Buy more lottery tickets.

It means that you need to spend even more money. If you want to win on the lotteries, you need to buy more tickets. That’s natural and common sense. But what is the drawback? You will also lose more money. Richard played lotteries for 25 years and won around $1,000,000 in those 7 jackpots.

We don’t know how much he spent on those his tickets during those 25 years but I think that quite a lot. Who knows if he even made any profit? I guess that he has made more money by selling his lottery books than by winning the lotteries.

Another key tip is that never change numbers. If you have found “good numbers”, don’t change them. I know that this sounds nonsense because IT IS nonsense. Many of his advice is very similar to this. For example, don’t take numbers in a row like 1-2-3-4-5-6-7. It really doesn’t matter because the odds are the same for every number in the lotto.

One of his tips was “For scratch-off tickets, buy an entire stack of tickets at a time.”  I really don’t understand what is the idea of this tip. Do you get it?

I think that only valuable tips that he gave were some ways how you can pay fewer taxes on lotteries. Anyway, the best tip that I can give you is that don’t play the lotto because it’s a tax for people who don’t know how to use the money.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • At least Richard makes you think

Cons:

  • His book has got more negative than positive reviews
  • You can’t beat the lottery so his methods are just a waste of money
  • His systems encourage you to play more which means that you would also lose more
  • You can find the information that he sells in 5 minutes on the Internet.

Conclusion – Is Winning Lottery Method a Scam?

I would call it a scam because it really won’t teach how you could earn money on lotteries.

Anyway, if you are looking for ways to make money online, you have come to the right place. As I mentioned in the beginning, I have made a research of more than 200 “make money online” training and found a few good ones.

My #1 recommended system is Wealthy Affiliate because it has a proven system that has helped LOTS OF people to make money online. Currently, they have more than 850,000 registered members and many of them have been able to generate a full-time income with their training.

Some guys are making even +$10,000/month as you can see here. (Many of them started without any prior experience of making money online.)

The method is based on 4 simple steps:

1.Create a website (Nowadays you can do it even in 30 seconds without prior knowledge)

2.Attract visitors (You can bring 100,000s of visitors to your website through Google or social medias, for example)

3.Leave links about different kind of products (You don’t need to have your own products. I earn sometimes +$100 per sale passive income while I am sleeping because somebody bought a product through my link. I know some people who are making even +$1,400 per sale.)

4.Earn commissions. (That’s the most fun part. You can earn even up to 80% commissions for some products. Imagine if the product that you are promoting $10,000. You can make quickly quite a good money.)

What do you think about this strategy?

You can learn more about it in 20 free video lessons in Wealthy Affiliate. They also provide you 2 high-quality websites for free. I want to outline that it doesn’t cost anything for you to get started

  1. No, i don’t believe this guy name Richard Lustig with his winning lottery method. It’s only his way to earn money by fooling people. It’s an easy way to convince people because of the idea of becoming instant millionaire. His works doesn’t give guarantee to win but a false hope. Because in reality, there’s no such thing as beating the lottery method. If such method is effective, lottery have been closed. Besides, vices doesn’t motivate us to be productive and to have a decent living. Congrats, for another good review. Keep up the good work. God bless you @Roope.

  2. For me, nothing can beat the lottery method because this kind of game needs a lot of luck and you should just keep on trying to enter draws. Specially those lottery games who requires you to choose numbers. Because lottery method has a lot of combination numbers so it will be really hard for us to guess.

    1. Exactly. These so-called lottery methods seem all to be some scams that are just trying to milk out money from people who do not know what they are doing.

  3. I understand that calling his system scam is right since he was not honest to explain how he has won the 7 jackpots and I nearly fell for his trick not until you explained how he did it as well. So, I won’t advise anyone looking on how to win the lottery to go to these sets of guys that are dishonest and looking for ways to make money out of the newbies in the lottery system.

However, maybe there are people that still patronize the Winning lottery method of Richard Lustig simply because they have not read this useful review that you just did.

    1. Yeah, 7 lotto jackpots sounds a bit better than a reality is. God knows how many lotto rounds he has played during the years. Probably tens of thousands. I don’t left my success for luck. I rather work for it 🙂

      1. Nice quote about not letting luck determine your success, rather you work for it. I think that we should always work towards getting better through skills acquisition as well as earning from providing services instead of letting some lotto games drain us of the little that we have.

  4. Like you said in your conclusion, I doubt this method is a legitimate source of income. I doubt it’s a good way to earn money either because it probably won’t work. If there ever was an actual way to predict lottery numbers or do well in the lottery every single time you entered, the lottery companies would try and find a new way to pick the numbers.

Any of these business people that try to claim that they know a secret formula are just lying. There is no formula really. It’s all random and based on luck.

    1. Hi KingCool,

you are right. It’s funny that one Lotto system creator once attacked me and said I am a scam artist because I showed on my website that his lotto system gives false hope and doesn’t work. I don’t know how blind he must have become to start saying such things. I think he loves money too much that he is even ready to lie to earn it.

It’s better to look for ways to provide value for other people rather than try to find quick wins in the lottery.

It also gives a great satisfaction when you create a successful online business and it starts working.

      Cheers,
      Roope

  5. Hi Roope,

I cannot believe this guy is using his lottery winnings to make more money. If he’s doing this it must mean he’s running low on cash.

There is no strategy to winning the lottery, so it’s obvious that anything this guy is offering is a scam. It’s all up to probability and the more people play, the less chances you have of winning.

Me personally, I’ve only played the lottery three times and it wasn’t worth my time.

I’d rather work on creating a passive income than trying to figure out how to win the Jackpot.

    Thanks for posting,
    Diana

PS- I hope my grandpa doesn’t see this… he plays the lottery every day! LOL

    1. Hi Diana,

I totally agree with you. Playing the lottery = giving money away.

I had a funny experience recently. I have written a review and made a video of the system called Lotto Guy Lottery System (I think the program is already banned in some states). In my review I clearly say that it’s a scam and you are not going to make more money with that system.

Then the founder of Lotto Guy Lottery Systems comes to me and threats me with all kind of things. He says that I am a scam artist and so on. I was laughing because a guy who sells lottery system was calling me a scam artist!! 😉 Lol

Anyway, it’s far more interesting to create passive income streams online rather than play lotto.

      Cheers,

      Roope

  6. Hi, Roope,

It is really not too difficult to understand that any “guru”, (like Richard Lustig seems to believe that he is) who claims to believe he/she can teach people the tricks in how to beat the lottery system is a total fraud.

In your review, you proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that committing more than one penny for this con artist in purchasing his garbage would be quite foolish on anyone’s part.

His book costs $22 on Amazon, yet contains only 30 pages? The fact that tis book only received on average one out of 5 stars just indicates what people think of this character.

The odds would always be against a person winning any lottery, period. For Lustig to try and b.s. his way into leading people to believe he can beat the system is proof of what a complete liar that he is.

Your grade fo 10 out of 100 is quite accurate although truly if you graded it out to a 5 or lower you would have not been at fault.

    Jeff

    1. Hi Jeff,

thank you for your comment. It seems that we have the completely same opinion about lottery scams. These people who claim that they have a “secret formula” to beat the lottery are just fooling people (and themselves).

I made a review of Lotto System Lottery Guy where I explained that this kind of systems don’t work. The founder of Lottery Guy got very pissed off and attacked me. I asked if there would really be a way to win the lottery and he couldn’t prove anything.

It was kinda funny that a lottery guy was attacking me even though he is himself scamming people.

      Cheers,

      Roope

  7. HI Roope

Well, I don’t play the lottery at all, because I seem always to find a better way to spend my money?

I seriously doubt that any body could really have a method to outsmart the lottery? Not even Richard Lustig with his winning lottery method.

I have known quite a few wealthy people in my life, and not one of them spent any money on lottery tickets at all?

A friend tells me I am gambling with affiliate marketing. Do you think affiliate marketing is like playing the lottery?

    1. Hi Mike,

yeah, the idea of beating the lottery with “tricks and tips” is really absurd. One of the most famous lotto systems is Lotto Guy Lottery System. I have also wrote a review of that product because it clearly seems to be a scam.

Now the founder of that program came to my website and tried to threaten me if I don’t delete that review. I am not going to delete it because I want that people don’t fall into these lottery scams.

      -Roope
