Earn Money by Searching Google? – $558 Earnings!

In my brand-new Qmee video review, you’ll see how my friend made over $558 with Qmee. This proves that Qmee is legitimate website and they pay honestly their members.

I’ll be happy to help you out so you can also start making money online.

What Is Qmee?

Qmee is a service that enables you to make money by making searches and answering surveys. It also enables you to get cash back from your purchases online.

The original purpose of Qmee was to help you to make money by online searches but afterward, they have made their services bigger. The company and a website have been around now for around for 5 years so it’s relatively new. However, many experienced online marketers have claimed that it’s a legitimate service and they are paying for the members.

But how could anyone make money by searching stuff on Google or Amazon? Is it really possible? Is it profitable or just a waste of time? Let’s have a closer look.

How to Earn Money in Qmee?

There are 3 ways of making money in Qmee. I will explain them to you one by one starting from online searches.

1.Earn money by making searches on Google, Bing, Yahoo, Amazon, eBay…

A screenshot from Qmee website explaining how to make money by searches.

This works in the following way: 1.You sign up to Qmee. 2.You install a Qmee application to your browser. 3.When you make a search in Google, it opens additional sidebar. 4.By clicking results in a sidebar you can earn some cents.

They said that you could earn up to $1 with a search but that’s far from reality. Usually, you can earn around $0,07 per search and sometimes not even that.

2.Earn by shopping

You can get discounts and find deals with Qmee

The idea that you “earn money by shopping is similar to Mr.Rebates. It can be an interesting idea to save money on your purchases. If you would anyway buy something, why wouldn’t you take a little discount or cashback?

However, this can have an effect on some people that they start using more money instead of saving it. What do you think?

 3.Earn by answering surveys

You can also make money with Qmee by sharing your opinions

One of the classical and most typical ways of earning pocket money online are surveys. I am saying pocket money because you can’t earn well by answering surveys. I have researched more than 50 survey sites and none of them were worth it.

I have heard so many people saying that they tried survey sites for a while and then realized it wasn’t worth their time. You can earn a few dollars but it takes 5-10X more time than in any work.

In addition, you could be earning +$10,000/month online if you use your time wisely online. Answering online surveys will not get you there but affiliate marketing can.

How Much Can You Earn with Qmee?

This is a very important question that we need to face. Is using Qmee worth your time or not?

It doesn’t take much of your time and effort just to download and install Qmee extension to your browser. Then you will see their ads automatically in a sidebar when you make searches. I want to mention that it doesn’t show the sidebar always so you can earn money only sometimes by searching things online.

In addition, you can’t “hack” the system to make tons of money. I found out that most people earn something like less than $1 and then they decide Qmee is not worth it. Okay, it doesn’t take much of your time but a sidebar can still be a little distraction and eventually take much more than you had planned.

So, let’s put this in a simple form:

  • You can’t make a living with Qmee.
  • You can earn a few dollars with Qmee every now and then but that’s it.
  • I don’t recommend to concentrate too much on Qmee because there are better ways to make money online.

The thing when I could consider using their services is if I buy something online. I would just quickly check if they can provide a discount or a cashback. That’s it.

I know that many people are recommending services like Qmee but highly successful people wouldn’t use too much time on it. What do you think?

Qmee Payout

You can take a payout straight to your PayPal account or to your credit card. Qmee pays in cash and they don’t have a minimum payout. It means that you can cash out even $0,27. That’s why many people are showing proofs that they earned money with Qmee even though made only less than $1 with this service.

Qmee Hack

When people started to realize that they can’t earn much money with Qmee, they started looking for a Qmee hack.

However, there doesn’t exist any Qmee hacks that would work in a reliable way. That’s why I recommend playing by the rules and making always honest money online.

By making honest money, you can also sleep better at night and in the long run it will lead to greater earnings 😉

Pros & Cons of Qmee

Pros:

  • Free to use
  • Easy to install a browser extension to start using Qmee
  • You can buy stuff online for a bit cheaper price
  • They have created an interesting business model: Make money by searches. It’s similar like Swagbucks.
  • No minimum cashout

Cons:

  • Qmee is only available in UK and U.S.
  • The earning potential is very low
  • You don’t have a possibility to earn with all searches

Conclusion – Is Qmee a Scam?

No, Qmee is not a scam. They are really paying their members and many reliable Internet marketers have proven it to be true.

However, like with most of this kind of “make and fast easy money online” services, the earning potential is pretty low. It won’t make you a living but of course, you can earn a few bucks by using Qmee.

But let’s face the truth. You would earn more by skipping one lunch than by playing Qmee for a whole week.

If you are interested earning big money online, I recommend joining Wealthy Affiliate. It’s a community of people who are earning money online. Thousands of them are earning a living on the Internet after going through the training in WA and applying their teachings.

  1. I want to start an online business where I can earn money. I am planning an online parent coaching business where I can help parents through email and telephone conversations. I’ve never started a website and would like it to be fairly easy (if possible). Are there any free or inexpensive places where I can do this? What methods of payment are best to use? Thanks!.

  2. I know Qmee. I even tried to join this reward program, however, based on my location, I was not accepted. I have many friends who are earning on Qmee. However, you cannot make a big money on Qmee. It is a good site to make a side income, but it cannot be your main income.

  3. Hi Roope,

I read the whole lot. Qmee is a great idea if the money wasn’t so low. And, I think you are right, people probably would spend far more than what they earn because they are seeing things to buy all day long. Not good if your looking to make real money online.

I am going through the WA training myself and I would highly recommend people at least look into it as it will be the only online opportunity they will ever need should they work at it and persevere.

    All the best Roope.

    Kind Regards,

    Philip.

    1. Hi Philip,

Qmee and many similar services would be great if the earning potential would be higher. But with $1-2 per hour reward it’s mainly a waste of time. I know, I’m being brutally honest with it but I can’t recommend something that I wouldn’t like to use myself 🙂

Wealthy Affiliate training is great. I love the attitude of Kyle (the founder of Wealthy Affiliate) because he is always helping members and giving useful tips even though he is a multimillionaire and could stop working whenever he wants.

  4. Hi, Roope.

Great article once again, I’d never heard of Qmee before.

Their service is pretty weird if I’m honest and besides the opportunity to earn a few coins, my biggest concern is why an app like this even exists? Do clients pay to have their sites show up on the sidebar of results, thus offering us money to click in the hopes that they get more traffic?

Maybe it’s just to manipulate rankings? Like maybe a client pays to make sure they get the clicks and become a more dominant authority?

It makes me sceptical but I am just curious.

    1. Hi Ryan,

thank you for the questions! I’ll do my best to answer them all.

“Why an app like this even exists?” Companies probably pay money for Qmee so they advertise their products on search results. It’s quite cheap and effective advertising for them. Let’s say that it costs $0,10 per click for the company. And they basically know that the one who clicks is already interested in the product because he is searching for that in the Google. The idea is similar to PPC-marketing.

I also thought that they would want us to click their websites on Google search results but they are appearing in additional sidebar so it’s a bit different.

I hope this answers to your question. Let me know if I can help further.

      Cheers,

      Roope

  5. A great review of Qmee another low value earn money from home website. They are popping up everywhere and most like Qmee really do not offer enough value to compensate for the time spent on them.

Thank you for detailing the 3 potential ways to make money using Qmee and the potential revenue a member can derive from search, shopping and surveys and in pointing out the risks of shopping to earn money (what an oxymoron, shopping is always spending, never earning) Thanks for the headsup!

    1. Hi Robert,

I am glad that you enjoyed my review of Qmee. At first it seemed like an interesting opportunity because installing their browser extension doesn’t take so much time.

It can be worth the time for some people but I would prefer doing something else than clicking their ads.

Have you already learned to make money online with affiliate marketing?

      Cheers,

      Roope
