What Is Bellame?

Bellame Beauty, Inc., simply known as Bellame, is a newly established makeup Multi-Level Marketing company, specifically on July 1, 2018.

Founded by Melissa Thompson, the current CEO has 20 years of experience in beauty and social selling industries under her belt.

Like Avon, Perfectly Posh, Mary Kay, Younique, Belcorp, Arbonne, SeneGence, and Amway, Bellame’s products comprise its flagship items primarily targeting the $445-Billion beauty industry.

Important Background Information

According to Melissa’s LinkedIn profile, she holds executive positions in some of the world’s top companies pertaining to beauty and social selling services over the past 2 decades.

She’s worked with Astoria Company as a Chief Marketing Officer, Stella & Dot as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing for EVER Skincare, Consultant in Mana Products, Executive Direct of US Sales, Region Sales Leader, and US Director of Sales Development in Avon. Apart from that, she’s also been related with Shaklee Corporation and Belcorp.

Brought by experience and her passion in building an empire in the beauty industry, she created Bellame with a goal, “To give women (and a few good men) a path – via science-backed, luxury beauty, and an innovative business model – to claim their career and financial destinies.”

Further, she established a networking company to empower women as a brand inspired by beauty, packed by scientific engineering with regards to the results when using their products. Part of driving women is to inculcate the power of an active community with like-minded individuals.

What Do They Offer?

“Acqua Lumiere” is the current collection available on their shop. Inspired by the two countries’ Italy (Acqua) and France (Lumiere), they created a formula with the mixture of “water” and “light.”

Based on their website, they claim their products don’t have the harsh ingredients mixed such as parabens and phthalates. Parabens are typically found in shampoos, commercial moisturizers, and other cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.

On the other hand, phthalates are used in substances to increase flexibility, transparency, durability, and longevity, which are apparently present in most of the fragrance available in the market like those in Walmart Gift Pack (as per FDA Report).

Currently, they have the following products:

  • Hydrating Cleanser ($48 retail price, $43.20 Beauty Passport)
  • Hydrating Eye Cream ($68 retail price, $61.20 Beauty Passport)
  • Hydrating Moisturizer ($78 retail price, $70.20 Beauty Passport)
  • Hydrating Serum  ($88 retail price, $79.20 Beauty Passport)

Extra Information You Should Note

To those who want to take advantage of product discounts, applying for a Beauty Passport is apt for this concern.

Hereunder are the main benefits listed on their website you can utilize when purchasing any of Bellame’s products available.

Beauty Passport Members Benefits

  • 10% savings from the retail price of the products
  • FREE shipping for orders worth $50 and beyond
  • FREE Membership with Auto Replenishment order or purchase $25 annual Passport during checkout with discount

Not only the Passport benefits but you, as a Beauty Passport holder, will have to take note of the terms and conditions set upon membership wherein Bellame asks a few bucks from you in exchange for their services, specifically their Auto-Replenishment Program (automatic shipments of desired products within 30, 45, or 60 day after purchase).

In addition to that, they will also ask $20 service fee whenever the check or charge they ask will be returned to you regardless of the reason. As for the annual fee, Beauty Passport holders will pay $25 to keep the services. But in the case for application of the Passport during enrollment, this amount will be automatically waived.

Dangers of using Malachite in a solution

Typically, Malachite has many advantages such as absorption of negative energies as well as various pollutants from the atmosphere.

Aside from that, it’s also used for its physical and emotional healing properties. From menstrual problems to drawing out spiritual trashes.

However, the raw natural stone requires a lot of care. In fact, it should not be used for anything applied on the body and should not be exposed to moisture.

If this is one of Bellame’s active ingredients, you, as a consumer, need to be aware of the potential mishandling that might occur upon production in one of their products. This doesn’t mean to scare you, but vigilance.

Bellame Compensation Plan

To join Bellame as one of their partners, you have two options to choose from.

  • Digital Starter Kit worth $179 value ($69)
  • Basic Starter Kit worth $332 value ($199)

Given, there are 4 ways to take advantage when you become their partners:

  • 25% on personal purchases
  • 40% retail commissions
  • Team Sales commissions
  • Personalized training & support

To show us how this works, AJ Yates, a current Platinum-level Bellame partner, explained on her YouTube video how she earned $70,000 of bonuses in the company as part of the Founding Compensation Plan.

How did she do it?

She put her time into helping herself ranked higher until she reached the Platinum rank and earned $20,000 in bonuses per month. With Bellame’s payment structure, she’s paid 1 month plus 2 months following.

To start earning, you need to accomplish 3,000 from Team Sales as a quick start and earn $200, for example. In the matrix below, I’ll show you how the company pays in accord to the rank you belong to.

Not only you get the bonuses from the Group Sales, but you can also earn 50% bonus as a trainer once new partner (Level 1) accomplishes the training.

If you want to learn the BEST way to make money with Bellame, follow this 4-step formula that can really help you to have a breakthrough.

How To Make Money With Bellame?

As a consumer, you wanted to utilize various methods to make money in a large niche multi-level marketing company just as Bellame. Like Avon, you have the Direct Sales and Group Sales to earn a certain compensation based on the business package you purchased right from the beginning.

When it comes to retail sales, you have discounts on personal purchases worth 25% and 40% retail commissions, which is obviously taken from every Direct Sale you earn from your clients.

And because Bellame is an MLM, you, as their partner, need to gather as many people as you can to create a strong team and earn a certain quota to earn commissions once you qualify. Now, you’re up for several hurdles:

  • Time
  • Quota
  • Competition

Of course, the company won’t have you sent into the battlefield in social selling without gear. Rather, they provide you with the personalized training as well as the support you need to be equipped with the necessary tools to become their effective partner.

Bellame Reviews – What Others Say?

The fact Melissa coined Bellame as a product of “luxury” when it comes to skincare, many citizens across the web started talking of the potentials of the MLM.

As expected, many compared her company against the Giants such as Avon and Mary Kay, apparently who have the same line as Melissa’s.

To support their claim, I’ve researched her background and found out that she’s been into different top beauty companies in the world like Avon per se. There were many companies under her belt, however, in Avon had she gained the most experience prior to establishing Bellame last year.

In addition to the comments on Reddit thread, Bellame encourages to invite the founding members to become the top of the pyramid, consisting the 1% of the company. Obviously, once the downlines are created later, the ones at the top will benefit the most.

Setting the whole MLM structure aside, Melanie McCone, a Lifestyle blogger, tried and tested Melissa’s claim of improving the skin through hydration.

She tried the 4 products around her face for 2 weeks and noticed the difference between her face before and after she applied the products.

Melanie McConne’s 14-day test of Bellame’s products

In her video, she stated that though the skin reaction varies from person to person, however, her sensitive skin doesn’t show any signs of a breakout as other skincare products do to her face. That means many people across the US can enjoy the hydrating products Bellame produces.

Pros & Cons of Bellame

Pros

  • Life changing MLM
  • Real “vegan or animal-cruelty-free” products
  • Real leaders (The higher the rank, the higher # of hours you spend to help the Level 1 partners)
  • Presence of Tribe community as a support
  • Training provided to new partners
  • Discounted prices of Bellame products of your choice as a partner
  • Beauty Passport discounts
  • Not scammy MLM

Cons

  • Too young for an MLM company to invest (maturity of 10 years at least is okay)
  • A monthly quota of $3,000 of Group Sales in 3 months to get promoted
  • Too much time to spend on training your downlines (12 hours at least)
  • Dangers of Malachite content in the product

Is Bellame A Scam – Conclusion

As far as my research goes, Bellame isn’t a scam, but a legitimate networking marketing company will give you hurdles as any MLM can do for you.

Although they provide real and effective products and real leaders willing to spend the time to train the basics as well as the teeny-tiny bits of the company to earn and change lives, Bellame will remain as a network marketing company no matter how much they break barriers in the industry. Keep that in mind.

I’ve seen their website and there are only 4 products released as of now, yet for sure there are more to come. More products, more potential buyers to attract.

That said, just like other companies with a similar system as Avon, every partner is required to do their task as Bellame’s trusted wings to spread the word and invite more people to join their tribes and make money.

Take a look at the minimum requirement of Group Sales to earn per month (in 3 months) to get a bonus. If it sounds scammy, why would you go through much to see the Return of Investment?

Otherwise, you could have relaxed in your seat and do nothing while the money keeps rolling without caring whether your downlines struggle or not.

The only downside I’ve seen here is the differences between the compensation between the Diamond- and Platinum-ranked partners with $2,000 and $20,000 bonuses respectively. Perhaps, AJ might have included the other bonuses she collected from 4 downlines and the training she accomplished over a short span of time.

Overall, answering the question, “Is Bellame a scam?” it’s not. I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews on YouTube. You can see those yourself. All of them emphasized the huge improvement of their skincare within 2 weeks of using the products.

Given, it’s easier to convince people to join the company without being too annoying, because the product works.

But, if delving into MLM isn’t your thing, I have a better option for you.

  1. Thanks for this informative article, I’ve learned so much from it. Personally, I’ve no experience with Bellame, however, I do feel more inclined to do affiliate marketing because it seems like a more straightforward and honest way to make money online. I have the feeling that a lot of these MLM systems are way too confusing sometimes. Anyways, I appreciate this review, it was an eye-opener for me and more people should see it.

    All the best, Alex
