The old saying says, “All that glitters is not gold.” Web Perspectives’ website looks promising with happy and smiling faces but the reality is a bit different. They are giving us a picture that their service would be a great money-making opportunity that you shouldn’t miss. I will tell you why it’s not worth bothering and reveal how you can make a living (or fortune) online.
Web Perspectives Review
Name: Web Perspectives
Website: www.WebPerspectives.ca
Founded: 2004
Field: Survey Sites
Overall Rank: 10 Out of 100
What Is Web Perspectives?
Web Perspectives is a survey site founded in 2004 in Canada. The main idea of the website is the following:
1.Companies want feedback and opinions about their products. They hire Web Perspectives (and other survey sites) to give them feedback from real customers.
2.You join Web Perspectives and answer questions like, “What comes to your mind when you think about Coca-Cola?” “Does Walmart appeal to your emotions?” and millions of other random questions.
3.Web Perspectives gives you little rewards (if they are not scamming you) that you can use, for example in Amazon, Air Miles, and Indigo.
4.You realize that you have wasted a big amount of your time without earning almost anything.
I have made a review of more than 50 different survey sites and let me tell you a secret. None of them was worth my time. I have found a much better way to make money online that you can learn too. I have friends who joined this training without prior knowledge and nowadays they are making +$10,000/month. It didn’t happen overnight but it’s still 100,000 times more profitable than answering online surveys.

How Does Web Perspectives Work in Practice? (Points and Rewards)
If you are still interested in this company, let me explain how does it work in practice.
Each time you finish a survey, you will be rewarded 100 – 500 points depending on how long your survey has been. Usually, one survey takes at least 15-20 minutes to fill out. Maybe a bit faster if you have an ultra fast internet connection and your brain is working like a machine. Much more if your connection is not fast and you need to wait that pages download.
Once you have reached minimum 1,000 points, you can get your $10 reward. So, let’s make a quick calculation how fast will you be earning in rewards.
Let’s say that one survey takes 20 minutes and you will get 200 points for a reward. You need to fill out 5 surveys in order to reach 1,000. 5 surveys take 20 min x 5 = 1h 40 min. At first, this sounds quite okay. $10 in under 2 hours is much better what you usually get from survey sites. Normally you can earn $10 for 5 hours or more.
I don’t even believe that you could earn $10 reward in 1h 40 min in Web Perspectives. Have a look what one member says below. In addition, I always prefer earning passive income with affiliate marketing than very small income from surveys.
Oh, and by the way, you will never have an opportunity to finish 5 surveys in 1h 40 min because they only send you surveys every now and then. It means that you will need to wait for new surveys to come.
Is Web Perspectives a Scam?
There are some rumors on the Internet that Web Perspectives is a scam and it’s not paying their members they are supposed to do. Have a look at a text that one of their former members wrote in his review:
This is only one example of some similar reviews. It seems that many people are not satisfied with Web Perspectives’ service. The complaint that you can read above is also very common with other survey sites.
People are frustrated answering lots of questions and then a survey site tells you that you were not qualified. It has happened to me, for example, with Toluna, Opinion World and with almost any survey site that I have tried.
This member also says that Web Perspectives is not paying the rewards that they were supposed to pay. It’s a bad sign and I wouldn’t trust such a company that isn’t working as it’s supposed to work. Of course, this guy could have contacted their support and find out what was wrong. Still, the reason that you can find many similar complaints on the Internet says that everything is not alright.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- You can earn some little rewards
Cons:
- Minimal earning potential
- Potentially a scam
- Worked only in Canada (at least in the past)
- Sometimes you spend time on answering a survey and they say “You were not qualified.”
- There are even better survey sites out there
Conclusion – Use Other Sources to Make Money Online
Web Perspectives is not worth your time in any way. If you would have an ultra-fast Internet connection, you would need to buy something from Amazon.ca, they would offer you more surveys, you would be qualified for all and you would be fast answering them. Then it could possibly be worth it for a little while. But that’s the only hypothesis and wouldn’t happen in a real life.
By using your time answering online surveys you are following the road that leads nowhere. I recommend you to use your time rather on affiliate marketing if you want to make big money online. It’s not either a quick way to riches but still, it can be much faster than a normal day job. I have friends who achieved +$10,000/month income with affiliate marketing in 2-3 years.
Would you achieve the same in the normal day job? First, study for 3-5 years in the university and then start with a minimum salary of your branch. Work for 2 years to get the first raise and so on. Affiliate marketing can be much better way make a significant income. It’s because you can earn passive income while you are sleeping and you can leverage the potential of the Internet.
If you want to learn how to become a successful affiliate marketer, I recommend taking a closer look at Wealthy Affiliate. It is an online university that teaches you every step how you can succeed online. They have also a huge community of 850,000 members. Many of them are already earning full-time income and they are willing to give you personal tips how you can do it too.
It’s 100% free to get started. You get +12 hours of interactive video lessons and 2 websites for free.

Do you also prefer affiliate marketing over online surveys?
I think that you prove a good point as to why it is a scam and pin pointed some key things that helped to do so. I used to fall for the online survey taking seen and ill tell you what it was all a waste of my time. So to have good people with accurate data to share to save people from a wasted day or week trying to get somewhere only to hit a brick wall, ill tell you it is very much so appreciated and beneficial just being out there for people to connect to. So thank you for all your efforts and sharing with me and the rest of the people who visited your site. Keep up the good work and thanks again!
Hi Jacob,
you are right that answering surveys are mainly a waste of time. They provide so little reward for the efforts that you put it. In addition, the income will never grow very high if you just keep on answering surveys.
A better way to make money online is to learn useful skills that can provide value for other people. Then you will be able to make a living (or even a fortune) online.

You know, I have been looking online for different ways to earn some additional income and I was considering online surveys. This sounds easy enough at first glance, but I had my suspicions. I am glad I stumbled upon your site. I appreciate you have tried so many without any being a good use of your time. I will check your recommendation page.
Hi Anthony,
yeah, my message to people is that don’t waste your time filling out online surveys. You have a wonderful life to live and every reason to do well. Clicking some surveys for endless hours (or even little amount of hours) is not worth it.
I am more interested in making passive income online through affiliate marketing because there’s a huge potential and it provides much bigger value for other people.

Hi again Roope, I actually commented on one of your other reviews on surveys earlier today.
Although this one sounds worst than the first and the fact you receive points instead of cash screams scam to me and a huge waste of time.
But again, I found your site easy to read and navigate, but more importantly… informative. As this is another program I’ve added to my long list of never to do business with.
Thanks Roope…
Wayne
