Its insane how they put up those monthly prices. Especially $199/per month. That is just too much.T he company makes a ton of money if they still have clients that but their advanced pack. For something simple, the cost isn’t just right.
Every person that wants to start a business has to pay a ton just to start off somehow.
Its better to create your own system, website and try to build up your sales on your own.

You have a good point Oliver. But of course, we still need to consider that $200 is different money the United States than the Philippines. In the US $200 is not that huge money.
But you are definitely right if somebody invests $200 per month for such a tool it really must generate income for him to cover the costs.
Whilst it looks good, the problem for me is that it just doesn’t seem to be worth the price really. For the price that you pay monthly for something like Leadpages, you could buy a template and design your very own awesome landing page and work from there. It just seems a bit excessive and expensive for something so simple.
You are right that Leadpages does not sue it to everyone’s needs.
A premium WordPress theme costs around $60 and Thrive Themes costs $19/month.
Therefore, Thrive Themes is more expensive in the long run but I still feel it’s worth it because it generates me much more money than it takes.
I cannot imagine to pay $25/month, $48/month, or Advanced $199/month for just a lead generation tool or landing page builder. Instead I will invest $60-$70 on a good theme and customize the theme to generate leads or build landing pages. The price is beyond my budget. By the way I also do not see any benefits of using such expensive programs.
Lead generation is a vital part of your online business if you are doing email marketing. And if you are doing online business, you must collect an email list. Otherwise, you are leaving lots of money on the table.
But you are right that Leadpages is a bit expensive compared to Thrive Themes that costs only $19/month and has even more features than Leadpages. One successful lead generation tool called Sumo costs minimum $29/month and it doesn’t have even closely as many features as Thrive Themes.
Yes, I agree with you Vinaya. A lot of people cannot afford to invest with this for a very huge amount of money. We should always know what is the benefit we will get for such high investment. We should be wise enough to know that our investments are returning.
I think “huge amount of money” is very relative. $50 is not a big money in the U.S. or Europe but it’s already a bigger money in the Southeast Asia. Driving from airport to my home by taxi costs already $50 which would already cover a monthly membership for Leadpages or 2,5 months for Thrive Themes.
But as I have often said, it’s good to start with free methods and once your online business is generating enough money, you can upgrade to better tools in order to build your business bigger.

These rates are mind boggling. Lead pages is always touted as a way to make money online without having to have a website, but at these rates it looks cheaper to get and maintain a website.
In my opinion both Thrive Themes and leadpages are expensive especially for someone who is just starting out in the online business. This is definitely not for newbies who are still figuring out how to get things done, considering it will take them months to start getting any leads.
Of course it depends on what do you consider as expensive. Starting a brick-and-mortar business may cost +$2,000/month easily. In that sense throwing less than $20/month to Thrive Themes is just chicken fees.
But yes, there are cheaper ways to get started and I recommend starting the Wealthy Affiliate training because they offer the first lessons for completely free. It will get you started comfortably with your online business without investing a dime.
It’s very good to point out that Leadpages is different from Aweber because some new beginners in online business always mistake the two. While Leadpages helps you to grow your email list but getting you more subscribers, it doesn’t send these long list the mail you need to be sent. Aweber does that for you effectively. Leadpages is a good tool for crowing one’s online business but it’s not appropriate for newbies to the business because of its cost.

If I can say, Leadpages is playing it rough and In some kind of way scamming their users by putting up a ridicules amount of money needed for 1 year membership. I recommend either go with Thrive or don’t even think about buying the membership from leadpages.
Yeah, the deal that Thrive Themes offers is amazingly good. I think it’s wrong to say that Leadpages is scamming their members because they are obviously providing good value. However, Thrive Themes just offers a better deal which makes Leadpages’ offer look bad.
I agree with that one. But i still think they are scamming in some sort of way. Maybe not scamming but they are kind of fooling their customers. They might be proving good value as you mentioned,but its still not worth the cost.

I agree with you Henry. Leadpages is probably okay for those who have already an offline business and they want to build websites easily. However, I still think that Thrive Thems is better for them because it’s cheaper and has some features that Leadpages don’t have.
