Is Vantel Pearls Recommended? Not really. I’ll explain this to you in a short while.

What Is Vantel Pearls?

Vantel Pearls, Inc., alternatively known as Vantel Pearls in the Oyster, is a network marketing company solely dedicated to distributing oyster jewelry 33 years ago, specifically on December 31, 1985. The company is based in Massachusetts, USA.

According to their website, Joan Hartel, the current president, discovers the beauty of sharing the wonders of these pearls after she brought one for her niece.

So, she decided to put up a business to share the same experience with others through direct selling. Thus, they started importing oysters that are grown for pearls from Japan and the South Pacific.

Each oyster produces genuine freshwater cultured pearls cultivated from the oyster farms. Vantel Pearls assures the high quality and environmental standards on their products.

Important Background Information

Better Business Bureau confirmed their business accreditation for 17 years now. Since then, they have a passing grade of B based on the customer reviews and 92 complaints they recorded against the company per se.

What Do They Offer?

As the name suggests, Vantel Pearls offers freshwater pearls in a form of jewelry to its customers and consultants alike. Here are a few of their products as shown on their official website:

Vantel Pearls Compensation Plan

Based on the official Vantel Pearls page, if you become one of their consultants, you will enjoy a 25% commission from each item sold. If your rank gets higher, you receive more compensation or the more possibilities you’ll have.

In addition to that, you will also benefit from the travel bonuses as well as in-house training that’s necessary for your business and personal development to become a better salesperson under their name.

In fact, this coming March 19 to 23 of 2019, the company sends their consultants to a getaway particularly in “The Encore on the Riviera 2019 Event” in Mexico.

Disclosure: Not everyone can attend this event depending on the time spent on the business, the skill level, and other factors that will affect their decision.

Further, you will receive a special discount worth 40% on any Vantel Pearls jewelry of your choice, achievement gifts, recognition, and more.

How To Make Money With Vantel Pearls?

Basically, in order to become one of their consultants, you have to do the following:

  1. Register in their membership form embedded on their website.
  2. Buy the Exciting Starter Kit worth $99, which includes,
    • Oysters with a genuine pearl inside
    • A piece of jewelry
    • Business tools & other related needs to run your business

Once you become one of their team, you can enjoy the benefits I mentioned earlier. You can go take a vacation along with the other consultants for the getaway.

You can take advantage of the business-related training they provide to improve your business skills as a consultant.

The downside is that you’re required to have a minimum of $500 worth of sales within the first month, which is quite overwhelming for the rookie consultant. Big pressure on her shoulders, that is.

Along with that condition, you are also required to host at least 3 parties within the 35-day period allotted for you to prove your skill whether you deserve to become one of them or not.

If you want to become really successful with Vantel Pearls, I recommend following the steps that these 13 people took.

Vantel Pearls Review – What Others Say About The Company & Product

With an average of 4.5 rating in BBB from almost 300 testimonials from the consumers, who tried purchasing and using the jewelry they offer, there’s no doubt that Vantel Pearls has done a great job as a business.

In fact, many are satisfied with the product they sell, including the ones below.

Is Vantel Pearls A Scam - Positive Reviews

Vantel Pearls’ satisfied customers mentioned they do NOT have problems with the product.

Vantel Pearls  (UGLY) Truths Revealed!

1. Bombarding Sales Volume Requirement

Once you get into the company, you’re not immediately considered as a consultant per se. You’re still a rookie under probation.

What happens if you were to chase as many people as you can to keep your monthly quota?

Not only that, you have to comply to their party hosting with at least 3 of them within 35 days.

2. Fake “Real” Freshwater Pearls

I’ve come across a post of a former consultant and she revealed what every consultant experienced under the company.

She mentioned that the president, Joan, has been buying dyed pearls that were transferred to Akoya shells to make them look real. But, if you know about pearls, you’ll know it’s not real.

3. Too Expensive Costume Pearls

I stated it many times in this post about the comparison between the real pearls and not in terms of their pricing. When you sell real pearls, paying a high price for it isn’t a big deal.

But the issue is most of the consumers who’ve received the items they ordered from Vantel Pearls are broken. If not, they got the wrong color or the wrong item.

4. Poor Customer Service

In most of the multi-level marketing programs I’ve reviewed, this is where the problems lie all the time.

Like any typical MLM companies, they tend not to do their responsibility towards the clients they serve and merely focusing on earning money as if they deserve it.

In most of the complaints I’ve reviewed, Vantel Pearls either left the issues unresolved or they rudely respond to the late deliveries, refunds, or returns.

What Did I Like About Vantel Pearls?

1. Getaway Bonuses For Excelling Distributors

Who doesn’t want to go abroad and get a vacation, right? If you prove your skills through the sales volume and PV you attain every month, Vantel Pearls will give you a travel incentive.

2. Generosity Overload

Aside from the sophisticated travel bonus, you’re going to get a special discount from any of the jewelry of your choice. You might have wanted to own one of them while selling it. So, it’s nice to own one.

Conclusion – Is Vantel Pearls A Scam?

To sum everything I’ve written here, Vantel Pearls is not a scam because they sell real products to their customers.

The issue here isn’t whether they’re doing schemes or not, but the issue of truth towards its clients and sincerity to serve them better. If not, the best. I’ve written about an MLM recently with the same issue, same scheme.

Your clients pay well without question. They buy your product and in return, you’re expected to do what they wished you to do. You’re doing business. That’s what it’s all about.

Right from the very beginning, the company doesn’t entail trust on their consultants as they have imposed intimidation. Within a short span of time, they want them to comply with the company standards (which is obvious).

What could you expect from a rookie consultant – untrained and overwhelmed with such huge responsibilities?

They may give you the best training to improve your business and open more opportunities in the future. But when?

Anyway, you have to undergo the harsh probation within a month or two without these training, as these will be given as part of an incentive when you satisfy Vantel Pearls’ demand.

Nonetheless, Joan’s company isn’t a scam. So, it’s up to you to try and explore the company at your own risk. If not, I will give you a better option. It’s easier than you think.
