Survey Network has more than 232,900 registered users. They promise you a £1 sign up bonus and up to £5 or even £10 for each survey. That sounds magnificent but after researching more than 60 survey sites, it sounds that they are trying to fool you. In this honest review I will answer the question, “Is Survey Network a scam or a great way to earn money online?”

What Is Survey Network?
Survey Network is a website that that offers online surveys for marketing research. It means that companies want to get your feedback and opinion regarding their products so they can improve their business. In exchange, they will pay you some pennies for that.
Actually, they promise that you could earn much more from their surveys but that’s a lie. Survey Network has a very bad reputation and you can easily find tons of complaints by scrolling the Internet.
Anyway, why would somebody waste time on surveys when you have a possibility to earn +$10,000/month online?
How to Make Money with Survey Network?
Basically, making money with Survey Network and other similar sites is as simple as 1-2-3. Have a look at the picture below (it’s a screenshot from their website:
So, the first step is to register and you will immediately earn £1. That’s true there’s a catch. You will not get any money out from Survey Network until you have reached their minimum cash out £25. Their members have reported that it can take even years to reach that level. Imagine how much more you could have earned during those years by doing something more useful.
Their point two “Answer. Complete simple and fun surveys!” is partially true. Surveys are for sure simple and you don’t need any education or knowledge to answer them. But I must disagree that filling out surveys would be fun. I prefer earning passive income online by doing affiliate marketing. It pays 100x more and meanwhile I can help other people.
Their third point is, “Earn as much as £10 per survey. New surveys are added almost daily.” The first statement is probably false. I have read many reviews of Survey Network and not a single person has said it could be possible to earn £10 per survey on that website. Usually, you will earn something between 50 and 70 pennies.

Survey Network Complaints
Now we arrive at interesting waters. We will take a look at reviews of several ex-members of Survey Network. They got so frustrated that they are not participating anymore. Most people who answer surveys, do it only for a little time. Then they realize that it’s only a waste of time and start doing something else.
However, more and more people are born in the world rapidly so that’s how survey sites get most of their users. Innocent people are looking for legitimate ways to make money but then they fall into these time-wasters. You’re blessed that you landed on my site so you don’t need to waste time on surveys.
Finally, let’s take a look at those complaints.
Notice that a review by Valerie is quite recent because it has been published in May 2017. He says that he started so many surveys but always got disqualified. When she tried to get a reason for that, she just received an automated message. I feel sorry for her.
Amanda’s experience from this year shows that if you join Survey Network, you will be bombarded constantly by their emails. Then you start a survey and try to do your tasks but they just say “Sorry, you are not a good match for this survey.” What do you think about it?
Let’s take a look at one more review by Amina.
All these 3 persons, Amina, Valerie, and Amanda say that Survey Network was just a complete waste of time and energy. Amina didn’t bother to give even 1 stars out of 5.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- They will pay you when you have earned enough money by filling out their surveys (this can take even years of work).
- Cash out is possible through PayPal
Cons:
- Only available in the United Kingdom and the USA
- Minimum payout is huge £25
- It takes around 30-60 minutes to fill out the survey that pays 50-70 pennies
- It’s not possible to earn passive income with online surveys
- Bad reputation => Tons of negative reviews of their service
- You will be disqualified from most surveys that you would like to participate
Conclusion – Is Survey Network a Scam?
We can call Survey Network a scam. They are holding the carrot (big rewards like £5-10 per survey) in the front of your face but then they never give it to you. In the other words, they are not keeping their promises.
If you are interested in making a full-time online I recommend starting a step-by-step training in Wealthy Affiliate for FREE. I didn’t have any prior knowledge of earning money online when I started out there but their training and community taught me everything I needed to know.
The great thing about making money online is that if you do what other successful people do, you will eventually get the same results that they do. I was a bit discouraged in the beginning because it takes usually 3-6 months to get more traffic from Google. But when the time passed by I noticed that more and more people start visiting my website.
Then I got a sale or two. Sometimes I woke up checking my email that I received a $50 commission during the night when I was sleeping. I don’t yet earn +$10,000 online like these “big boys” but I am convinced that I will get there. Once you learn the process of making money online, you can repeat it over and over again and the income keeps on piling up.
Wealthy Affiliate provides 20 interactive video lessons and 2 high-quality websites for free so you will get comfortably started. They also have a cheap premium membership with all tools that you need for having a successful online business. I can honestly recommend it but first, you can see how things work with the free membership.

I like helping people to earn money online. When I started out I didn’t know what to do and I made lots of mistakes. Now I have learned from those mistakes and by avoiding them, you can make money online much faster.
I did surveynetwork which is linked to cint surveys and your surveys are checked by your-surveys.com, now your-surveys do a point system,, you start with 140, gain one point for every survey completed, but then they steal 20 points if they think you cheat,,, if you hit 100 points you are blocked,, now I have been doing them for 10 years, then suddenly the last 4 months, they have been accusing me of cheating on nearly every survey, wiping my points out,, in fact this week, i did not even bother to do any surveys and yet they still decided to deduct 55 points for cheating, they do not answer your tickets when you speak up about their cheating,, surveynetworks support email , you will never get a reply ,, so I tracked it down to one woman called angela, angela.jones@surveynetwork.co.uk,, though even though its her website that sends the surveys out,, she does not care and advises that you can always close your account,, cint are supposably investigating it,, but they have been saying this for 2 months now… surveynetwork is registered in the usa, But I have tracked the ceo to a woman in latvia.. so the whole set up is very dodgy .. I have suddenly stopped receiving any surveys from them now, of which they all pretend they do not know why … so do not waste your time , and if you are already using surveynetwork, you now have a email to contact them with .
Thanks for sharing this information John!
Survey Network is not for me. I live in Nepal and people from Nepal are not accepted for online surveys, even if the survey says it is available for international users. Surveys work only for the people living in the US, the UNK and Canada.
I can relate on you sir, it is also not allowed in our country. But don’t worry there is a lot of other survey sites that is allowed in almost all of the countries around the world. You can search some of that sites here in this blogging site. Lets keep on searching for survey sites because for me it is the easiest job to earn.
Hi Roope,
Thanks for sharing this review on Survey Network Scam. Honestly speaking a few years ago I did believe in this kind of earnings, though I never put any effort on it. Only after reading reviews such as yours, I realized it is a scam and waste of effort for few dollars or pounds.
Thanks,
Carthik
Hi Carthik,
yeah, answering surveys is not profitable so some of these companies are making big claims of a big income.
Affiliate marketing is much more profitable and exciting.

Terve Roope, thank you for a good article. I do not have any experience with those programs yet. I guess I’m worth a visit. But who knows what is reliable? Usually, those are in USA or Canada and I live in Sweden so those are probably for me.
Cheers Jarmo
Hei Jarmo,
I have experience of more than 60 survey and “get paid to” sites. I can say from experience that none of them are worth it. The earning potential is so low that you would just waste your time.
I noticed that you have already joined Wealthy Affiliate. I recommend that go through their training, put it into action and you will succeed.
Ask also lots of questions from other successful online entrepreneurs because they can give you lots of practical tips and help you hand by hand to a full-time online income.
Let me know if you need any help.
Cheers,
Roope
Looks like another scam.
The thing that I hate the most about the surveys is that they can disqualify you in the middle of the survey without any particular reason, even if you were almost at the end of the survey.
Amina testimonial is the proof.
Other thing I don’t like about the surveys is that they are geographically targeted (mostly for UK, USA and Canada) and if you don’t live there, you are screwed!
Thanks for exposing another scam!
Hi Miroslav,
yeah, that’s what most survey sites do.
There was one site that promised even $10-14 per survey. Then you went to answer them but in the end of the survey (after 20 minutes) they said that you were not disqualified. You can imagine how frustrated people were afterwards.
