Recently, I downloaded a cash app into my Android phone. I know many profitable ways to earn money on the Internet and I was wondering if this would be one of them. Today I am going to share the results with you.

How to Make Money with Your Smartphone? – My Cash App Video Review
Before you dive into the article I want to give you an opportunity to watch the video that I recorded related on making money on your smartphone.
In this video, I show how you can make money with Cash App and discuss whether it’s really worth it or not.
In the end of the video, I also explain a simple 4-step process that I use to make a living online that you can use as well. I believe you will enjoy and find this helpful.
What Is Cash App? – A Mobile Application to Make Money
I downloaded an Androind application called Cash App. It was quite popular with more than 1 million downloads.
I have also tried many similar apps before that. Then I downloaded a few others and realized that they all work more or less with same principles:
- Download the app and create an account. (Takes usually only around 10-30 seconds.)
- Accomplish tasks and offers. (They are usually quite small like answer a survey, download another app, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, etc.)
- Cash out your money. (When you have reached the minimum amount, you can take money to your bank or PayPal-account. Minimum payout varies usually between $1-10.)
Sounds simple and easy?
It is easy! And it is simple. But there are a few strong reasons why it’s not worth it.

Make Money with Cash App – Easy But Not Worth
This is how cash apps advertise their services.
So, there are many ways for you to make money with this kind of Cash Apps. Let’s analyze a few of them.
1.Like us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
Usually, an application has a Facebook page and they want more followers. How to get them easily? By rewarding members for liking them. Then your friends will see that you have liked the app and some people get interested.
This is very cheap marketing for app creators. They need to pay members usually something like $0,01-0,20 per like. Even though they would pay you $0,20 you can accomplish this task only once.
2.Download another app
Let’s say somebody created an Android application and is wondering how to get people downloading and using his app. Why wouldn’t he pay a few dollars that people start using it?
He contacts the founders of Cash App and says that can you add an offer, “Download xx app and earn $0,05.” Everybody wins at least in theory. Sometimes the offer may be,”Download xx game, reach level 10 and earn $1.”
Notice that there are sometimes tasks that you need to play a game until you reach a certain level. But imagine how slowly you would be earning.
First, you download a game and register. Then you spend many hours trying to reach the level 10. Once you eventually reach that level you notice that a lot of time has gone by.
3.Watch videos
They have movie trailers and many kinds of ads. Usually, you need to watch the ad at least for 30 seconds and the reward can be very small, for example, $0,01 = 1 cent.
4.Invite friends
This option has always the most potential in this kind of apps. You can’t usually earn more than $1-2 per hour by accomplishing their tasks. But when you invite friends, you can earn commissions for their earnings. Some apps also reward already when your friend signs up.
However, I don’t recommend this strategy. If the app is not worth it for you, why would you recommend it to your friend?

Cash App Payments – Reach the Limit, Cash Out and Pray!
Once You Have reached the minimum payment amount, you have an opportunity to take your money out. Minimum payout in the Cash App that I downloaded was $1,80 which was relatively small. Still, you need to accomplish lots of tasks to reach that level.
You can take the money in cash with most of these applications but some of them require you to use them for gift cards, for example to Amazon.
In my opinion, the easiest way is just to take the money to PayPal.
However, sometimes you need to cross your fingers if they will pay for you or not. I have seen many complaints of people using these “earn easy money” -services. First, they use endless hours to reach the $5 payout level but then they don’t even pay you.
Once you contact the support, nobody answers. Of course, there are also better experiences and sometimes everything works just fine. But work hours for earning $5? Please, don’t bother.
Why Are Cash Apps So Popular? – Does Easy Money Exist?
When I say that you could earn easy money what do you think? Many people run to me and ask how to do it.
These mobile apps promise you easy money so people get interested. But I have heard tens of first-hand experiences about earning easy money online. Half of them were scams and half of them were paying so little that it wasn’t worth it.
Were there any “easy money” opportunities that could pay a lot? Partially, yes.

In order to create a full-time income online, you need to work. There’s no other way around. But when you have reached a certain level you may stop working at least partially. The famous 4-hour work week by Tim Ferris has inspired thousands of online entrepreneurs all around the work.
Think about these 5 regular guys who earn +$10,000/month online. I know some of them personally and they could literally run their business on “autopilot”. It means that they wouldn’t need to work anymore if they don’t want.
That’s easy money. But remember that first, they needed to do the work. When Russell Brunson was still in a University he was already earning more than his teachers online. You could imagine that other students would have been highly interested how is he doing it.
But one of the students just stated, “But Russell needed to work for it.” Yes, right. He needed to work for it but now he has a freedom to do whatever he wants with his time without worrying about income.
Many people do it another way around. They party first and then go to a job they don’t like. Which route do you prefer?
What Kind of People Use Cash Apps?
I don’t want to be rude here but I want to be honest with you. As we saw above, Cash Apps don’t pay enough. The earning potential is ridiculously small. That brings us to a question what kind of people are using Cahs Apps?
Let me name a few groups:
- People who haven’t yet realized that Cash Apps don’t pay enough.
- People who don’t have a clear direction in life.
- People who don’t value their time (=life).
- Young kids who got a mobile app and their parents don’t advise enough how to use it wisely.
I know that my list is a bit radical. Anyway, it’s quite truthful. What do you think?
I have also caught myself numerous times during my life doing the things that I know that I shouldn’t do. But then I remind myself, “Roope, you have only one life. So, don’t waste it.”

Many of them are not scams. You can make some pocket money by playing these apps but as we saw, they will never make you a living. If you can earn $1-2 per hour, you can be more than happy.

I sent a transaction, and canceled it because my sister said she was all set and didnt need the money. They said my transaction would take no later than three days it has now been 7. I have sent several emails only for them to ask for more information, and then take forever to respond. They screwing with people’s livelihood. Some us can’t wait that long for our money. We have are living pay check to pay check with families to feed. You people at cash app should be ashamed.

This app I believe is a form of scamming, there are a lot apps in google play that are a scam and this one is very much qualified to one. It will let you install different kind of applications and demands to use for several minutes and sometimes demands to obtain a specific level or task but when you completed the task there isn’t a single dime transferred to the registered account.
Customer support is also very poor, it takes an eternity for them to answer your complaints and often times they doesn’t have a concrete solution to your problem. This kind of scam application revolves on social networking wherein you are given a referral code that can be shared to anyone, of course the more you refer the more chance of gaining a profit, but in reality it’s quite the opposite.
I wouldn’t recommend using this app to anyone or other scam applications.It will just eat your precious time without earning a single dime. Much better if you follow what the author of this article is suggesting.
Great thoughts. Many of these apps are just big “pyramid schemes” where people try to invite other people to their downline as much as possible. Yes, the app owners may pay some little money for completing tasks but in my opinion the amounts are so small that it’s not worth it.
I was using this app from google play store called money maker earn free cash from playing online games. It’s a total waste of time and a scam. Doesn’t pay you a dime. Don’t use it.

Yes, affiliate marketing is much more profitable. Just made +$500 in one day with affiliate marketing. With Cash App or other mobile apps it would probably take years to reach such amount :D.

When i see easy money online, i remember the time when i was just starting to research about how to earn money online. And the first that i encountered was those paid to click ads that promised easy money. Yes money is really easy because you just have to watch an ad for about 5 seconds and the money is yours.
So i enjoyed doing it for about a week. Then i realized, after calculating my earnings for the whole week, that is not worth it. Then comes this cash app thing that promises also easy money. And as i read this article, another proof was added to my proof that these things “could be” legit, but the time and effort you put into it is simply, not worth it!!!
That’s right. We could earn in 1 hour the same amount of money that people use weeks or even months to earn with Cash App or other mobile apps.
Nowadays, it is very difficult to distinguish if an app is scam or not. And with that I really do appreciate your effort in reviewing the cash app.

I have tried probably more than 100 survey sites. All the biggest ones and also tens of smaller ones. Nowadays I don’t use any of them and I don’t recommend them to others because the earning potential is extremely low. The only way you could earn money would be by getting tons of referrals.

At the end of it, you’ve spent maybe your half working day or worst, your whole day on this ‘easy’ way to earn money. The only good take away from this is, they really do keep their promise of paying you and they are honest upfront what you are really getting.
That’s completely true! “Easy money” = Little money.
There are many apps similar to Cash apps and one thing I do respect about them is they are honest. They tell you how much money you can make and how to make it which is different than most unrealistic scams. Haha, I like your point about that people haven’t realised that they can’t make much money off them yet.

Yes, some of them tell the earning potential right away but some don’t. I have seen many similar apps and websites just advertising with big letters using words something like, “Earn easy money for free! Get paid for doing easy tasks!” and so on.
Anyhow, after reviewing more than 80 GPT sites and app I’ve realized none of them is worth it.
I am not in favor of using money making apps on my phone. There are a couple of reasons. My smartphone os expensive ($300 worth), however, the rewards I get by using such programs is very low (2-3 USD). I do not want to make my expensive smartphone slow by using the programs that generate such a small money.

I actually tried one of them (forget what it was called), and they paid out in gift cards. Just too much work for pennies like you mentioned.
