  1. Only a few of these are remotely profitable from the little experience I have had with them and from what I have heard. Swagbucks and Listia are points based as are a few more of the platforms you mentioned. That doesn’t always translate into direct cash, usually points to make purchases with or get gift cards.

  2. The survey sites are a no for me. Most of the survey sites online don’t support or doesn’t have surveys for my country. I’ll be trying out the testing sites though. I’ve read the most part of your and decided to try the first option first. I’ll be updating you for progress. Thank you.

  3. I know there’s a lot of ways to earn online but I just don’t have the list of the sites available. I’m only familiar with one site which I intend to join. It’s good that I was able to see a more realistic picture of it.

There’s no such thing as easy money I guess. Easy jobs will pay little unless as you’ve mentioned it’s a passive income. I’ve been searching for extra income online and I realized it’s getting harder each day. But I think there’s no harm in trying unless it will take up so much of my time and end up not being productive.

    1. I think the process of making money online works usually like this:

      1.Learn a skill.
2.Apply the skill to provide value in the marketplace.
      3.Get paid.

There are tons of different skills that you can use to make money.

What are your interests? What kind of hobbies do you have? Maybe I cold have some good ideas for you! 🙂

      1. Thank you for simplifying it for me. I really like writing but I’m not confident about it. I’m checking right now if transcribing is for me. I am a working single mom and I’m really trying to squeeze in my sched reading the emails from people I have confidence on to learn more. And one of them is you. Right now I can’t afford to quit my regular job yet but I really wanted to work from home or do some freelance jobs.

        1. Thank you very much for your trust.

Yeah, I recommend that you don’t quit your current job unless you have a stable income stream from another source.

I started studying how to make money online a few years ago but I only quit my 9-5 job when I was convinced that I am able to make money online to sustain myself afterwards.

  4. I think this is a great concept and this should be employed in many countries. There are a lot of countries that needs serious testing of their products since most of them have a very low rating. I think this will be a win-win situation since not only people would be getting quality products but also having a way to earn money. This is way better than doing surveys on sites and this will really pay you!

  5. I’m gonna pass on those survey sites. Had so many frustrating experiences with them. Haha. Listia caught my eye though. I’ve tried it right after reading it here. They give you points just by setting up an account. With these points you can actually buy something useful. Some items also offer free shipping which is pretty neat.

  6. This is my first time to hear about making money by making reviews on products but just like the other method of making money in trying right now, it is slow and difficult to make money not to mention that I’m in a country (Philippines) with no such opportunities.

As a student with only little support from my family, I need to earn money to support myself, trying out Wealthy Affiliate won’t be a bad idea. Thanks a lot for the information, I hope I can also start making money online soon.

    1. I am happy to hear that you have started looking for ways to make money online. I spent 1 month in the Philippines and I have a Filipino girlfriend so I know that salaries there are extremely low.

If you learn a good way to make money online, you will easily make 10-100 times more than average employees in the Philippines. My gf actually quit the University because I recommended and showed how she can make much more money online than after getting a degree there.

  7. Thanks a lot Roope, i never thought stuff like this even existed, you really helped me a lot, specially for a students i really needed some extra cash !

    1. Great to hear that you’ve found it helpful. 🙂

Do you know what happened to me when I was a student? I started the training on Wealthy Affiliate. I noticed that it’s a great way to make money online. At the moment, I don’t do anything with my graduation papers because I am working online instead of a normal 9-5 job. Actually, I can earn much more online than in a regular job so now my degree is basically almost useless.

I recommend doing the same. Imagine if you can earn much more money online than in your regular job. What kind of freedom would it give to you?

  8. Hi Roope. I am really serious about earning significant amount of money online. I went to your recommended site through the link above. I cannot find any comments box there that is why I am dropping this question of mine here. Hope it’s okay. Do you own wealthy affiliate website? Is the training free?

    1. Hi Macfais,

I’m happy to hear that you want to earn money online. Then you have come to the right place. My website is created to help you and other people to earn money online.

Yeah, it’s completely okay that you ask the questions about WA here, no problem. Maybe I need to add a comments box there also 🙂

I don’t own Wealthy Affiliate website. I am just a member there. Their training and community has taught me how to make money online and it has given me a huge freedom in life.

Wealthy Affiliate provides a free starter membership in most countries. That includes some part of the training. However, they also have a premium membership that I highly recommend. It gives you the access to all the training and tools inside Wealthy Affiliate.

Premium membership is only $19 for the first month and afterwards $49/month or $359/year (=save $229).

Wealthy Affiliate has transformed my life and has given me to travel all around the world while making money online. It has also done the same for 1,000’s of other people from different countries.

I am sure it will also transform your life once you start earning a significant money online. I will be guiding you also and providing you personal tips and help. You will be able to ask me anything you need.

      1. Thank you Roope. Give me time to study the way it works. I will get back to you once I’m done. And I am sure, I will have a lot questions. By the way, you have a very awesome blog.

    1. Hi Pritam,

yes, the free membership in Wealthy Affiliate is available in the most countries. You can create a free account and start the training.

You can earn money with the free membership as well but I must admit it’s much easier with the premium membership because it gives you an access to all the tools and resources.

I am personally using the premium membership and I can say from my own and other people’s experience that it’s completely worth it. The price is so cheap compared to other similar products that charge you 10-100 times more for similar tools.

In addition, you will make much more money than the membership costs if you apply what you get on WA.

Please, let me know if you need any further help. Anyway, I will be providing my 1-on-1 support to you inside the community. See you!

  9. I wished I live in the USA. Here in the Philippines, I think there are no companies doing that. Unlike in the USA that they always look for someone to test the electronics. Companies in the USA are always into the satisfaction of the customers. Here in the Philippines, companies always think of profits.

  10. Hi Roope, I really appreciate the list of these companies, especially the ones where you need to test products, although I have to agree with Vinaya that most of the countries are simply not included in this offer.

I am struggling for a while now on pinpointing the most efficient method of earning online. I want to invest time and effort but having 5$ more by the end of the day is simply not worth it. As you stated in the last chapter, the rewards are really small.

I will check Wealthy Affiliate now, seems more promising long-term.

    1. Yeah. What I recommend doing is just avoiding such sites that don’t pay well. Wealthy Affiliate is 100% proven way to make money online and I highly recommend it.

Their training and community turned my life around and helped me to earn money online. It has also done the same for 1,000’s of people so I am 100% it’ll make the same for you.

I’ll provide you my 1-on-1 support to make sure you succeed.

Check out how my friend Jerry makes now +$2,500/month passive income with Wealthy Affiliate and is well on his way to reach $10,000/month income.

  11. Nice article! I’ll try to join some of which you mentioned. I used to earn from site which had the same system called Fixya. It was mostly a Get Paid To Answer technical questions rather than Get paid to Test products but it was indeed alike. Sadly their affiliate membership discontinued and I never got a payout. It was few years ago and through that website i learned about payoneer too. I am gonna sign up in some of these still. Thanks

    1. I noticed that site (Fixya) is still up and running but I don’t know if they’re paying.

Yeah, I really recommend joining Wealthy Affiliate than most of the sites listed above. On WA you can make $1,000’s every month unlike on those sites that you saw above.

Take a look at my friend’s experience here how he went from 0 to making +$2,500/month passive income on Wealthy Affiliate in 6 short months. I’m sure he’ll reach $10,000/month income very soon.

  12. It’s interesting to know that some of the popular survey sites like Toluna, Swagbucks, iPoll, and the rest that are mentioned in this review are also getting into user testing programs. That’s another alternative to earn, but then again these are just minimal income opportunities that can be done on the side.

Aside from being tedious, one disadvantage that I see on these user testing sites or apps is that some of the jobs may require installing software that may potentially harm one’s device. Unless you have some spare gadgets that you’d be more than glad to get rid of, I don’t suggest you give this a go.

Otherwise, take the job at your own risk. Since these tests are mainly “beta testing” for other new apps or software, that is mostly the case. So far I have encountered a few of these apps and based on experience, it looks good so far. Just make sure though that you’re fully aware of the process and test requirements and the consequences before doing these user testing tasks.

    1. Thanks for sharing this interesting point of view.

I have tried +100 survey sites but I never needed to install anything harmful to my computer. Therefore, I am not 100% sure which sites do you refer to.

I think one of the annoying issues is that you need to give your email and all the personal information to surveys. Then they can bombard you with all the advertising in the future as well.

But I need to say one positive thing about surveys! Once my friend won a high-quality 4-day trip to France through online surveys and asked me to come with him. It was quite amazing trip for free 😀

  13. I am so interested in this topic. I wonder how other get this kind of privileged. I wish I could be someone who test electronics and I am the one who get paid. It is surely something I hope that I could do in the future. Do you think this is available in the Philippines?

    1. It’s hard to say whether they’re available in the Philippines. I think the only way to find out is to test. But what I can say that many of them are only available in the U.S.

  14. Of all the sites listed in the article above discussing opportunities to earn money from that is connected to electronics, the only one that catch my attention is Listia. A site that helps one to get rid of his or her electronic gadgets that are no longer of any use to such person seems like a golden opportunity. If the services of such site is available in my country, I’m definitely not going to pass up such chance.

      1. I will definitely give you a feedback once I try out using Listia. Please I can’t seem to find the site link on the article, and I have tried to Google it but I’m not sure if search I’m coming up with is what I’m looking for. Please help me out with the direct link to the site.

        Thanks.

          1. Thanks for that link Roope, I just checked it out and saw that it’s also have an application one can download from Google Play store, so it’s definitely going to be very easy to use. I will most likely download it today and see how it goes.

  15. Your articles are really helpful. I am currently searching for ways on how I can earn money online. And those sites you mentioned in this article (and other articles of yours) were my prospect. I almost sign up to those sites. Thank you for saving me from future inconveniences.

  16. I have not being a member of any of those sites, but it looks like it is not the way to go as it is all about buying electronics and testing them. Also, I would like to check some of those sites to see how good they can pay when you test the electronics they want you to review about.

    1. I have tried some of the sites and they are like typical survey sites = not paying well. My writer listed the rest of the sites and I am 100% sure if they are worth it but my assumption is that they aren’t that good compared to real money-making opportunities.

      1. If they are like survey sites, then it is not really worth it. I mean that you have to spend money to buy some sets of electronics, review your observations while you get paid a little money for that. That doesn’t look rational to me.

    2. There is one company here called Fine Brothers that just started this recently, the company deals on laptops and phones sales, they are currently recruiting those that can help in testing purchased products by customers. I have actually recommended it to one guy living in the same neighborhood and he is already working and earning money there from just testing electronics (laptops and phones).

        1. Yes Roope, it’s indeed an amazing opportunity for people to work and earn good money from testing electronics. I get to discover about this job opening in the company because it’s where I purchased most of my gadgets. It was when I went to buy a new battery for my laptop that I get to see the company was hiring. Some smart individuals also install applications on customers phones and charge them $2 depending on the product purchased.

  17. I have never tried testing job even though I know you find find legitimate sites for testing jobs. I have not tried testing jobs for a coiple of reasons an the main reason is most of the testing jobs are available for tier 1 country. In other words, these testing jobs are available in the US, the UK, and Canada.
