Welcome to my "How To Get Keywords For Your Websites" Post!
In the past few weeks, I have been reviewing a lot of affiliate programs in which you can apply and make money if you can get into these programs as successfully as you can.
If you have read these posts, I am happy that you did. At least, they became helpful in your search for money-making opportunities online. For me, it means you’re into getting serious with building your own online business.
Although you have tons of ideas in mind for your blog or applied to a few affiliate programs you love to promote, if you have not enough traffic that goes through your website, that won’t give you the results you want.
The lower the traffic you have, the lower-income potential you will also have. The two are always partners. Why?
The purpose of having high traffic going to your website is to increase the number of visitors who happen to be your prospective clients and/or customers. The same goes for delving into our recommended online business opportunity.
Thus, if you don’t have enough number of people paying attention to what you’re writing or promoting about, what’s the use of publishing posts and applying for the affiliate programs, right?
It’s like you’re talking about your product with no audience at all. You need to have a group of interested people, who are willing to spend some time with you and learn about what you can offer to them.
This is the purpose of the post. We’ll delve into the process of searching the right keywords that will surely optimize your website traffic; hence increasing the chances of earning more on your account.
Are you ready? Shall we go through the complete details? Let’s dive into it.

How To Get Keywords For Your Websites?
There are many ways to kill a chicken. I remembered my Math teacher in high school told me that. By coincidence, researching the right keywords for your websites also follow the same principle. Here are a few of them:
1. Start Spying On Competitor's Best Keywords.
Roope Kiuttu, the founder of Your Online Revenue Ltd and a successful affiliate marketer from Finland, mentioned about searching for 5 to 10 best-performing keywords on their respective websites. Hence, you have to know which websites you consider your competitors in the niche.
If you don’t have any idea what a niche is, as the name suggests, it is a certain area or content that you want to concentrate on your website or blog.
For example, you like to blog about computers. Everything about computers is your niche. The same way if you like fashion, food, games, among others.
There are tons of niches in which you can explore and experiment. You don’t have to get stuck with the ideal 100% niche-related content on your website. I had the same experience, too.
It’s not that most successful online income earners succeeded after one niche choice. They did have a lot of unsuccessful niches, as much as I did over the years. Besides, there are various contents you want to share with your audience, right?
How To Start Spying Their Keywords?
There are various tools Roope suggests you try, such as Jaaxy, SEMRush, YouTube content, as well as keyword research via Wealthy Affiliate.
In the video below, he goes into the step-by-step process of researching those with high potential. Then, you can apply those strategies on your content afterward.
2. Make Use Of YouTube Search Results.
Using YouTube as your keyword source is one of the most underrated strategies most content writers and marketers aren’t aware of. Not only showing attractive and fun-learning videos, but also giving you the right keywords for your content.

They may not seem to appeal most of the marketers out there in comparison to the fancy paid software such as SEMRush.
Little did they know that YouTube search results, too, can do great things. Awesome things. Only if you do the right strategy and apply the keen sense of a detective.
How to get started?
First, when you land on YouTube, you see the search button on top of the featured and paid videos.
Did you see that? Once you type in the main keyword of your choice, it shows you the series of keyword suggestions below.

The keywords you see from search button is an example.
Second, you can go through your competitor’s videos and see which of their content has a lot of views and/or engagement.
In that way, you can assume that many people are interested in that content. You can utilize that one for your next content.
3. Use The Power Of Google SERP.
Similarly, Google and YouTube produce similar content results and suggestions as far as keywords go.
Google shows different types of content on the top page of its Search Engine Results Page (SERP) as well as the content suggestions below.
You see the screenshot of the critical but underrated or often ignored areas for content marketers.
If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on paid programs, such as SEMRush or Ahrefs in which both come in the expensive price ranges, you can make use of the Google search results. For Free.

The keywords you see are the ones Google suggested real-time as of this writing.
4. Refer To Buzzsumo For Content.
Buzzsumo is one of the most recommended content sources for most writers because it shows what type of content has the highest social media shares on the internet.
This is also one type of spying on your competitor’s best content; however, it doesn’t involve that much on the keyword, but the content per se.
You will gain insights on which of the content is mostly shared by your target audience. This is what I also refer whenever I research for the content on my blog.
The downturn is that you can only see the limited results and do research for only 3 times unless if you are willing to pay for a plan.
Certainly, you don’t have that in mind, though, as you’re focused on the research methodologies without a cent to pay on your behalf. Yet, it’s worth a try.

5. Utilize Wealthy Affiliate For Research.
If you are a member of Wealthy Affiliate, you’re familiar with how the process goes. You can go through your account and see below your primary photo the Jaaxy option. Click that and it takes you where the platform is.
You can simply type in the keywords you want to use and refer to the results based on Jaaxy brainstorming suggestions and those with high SEO potential and low competition.
To learn more about how Jaaxy works, you can see the video below.
Is It Worth The Effort?
Using these strategies won’t force you to pay something unless you do. Often, especially the highly-paid bloggers will pay the price to ensure 100% use of SEMRush, Ahrefs, and other types of platforms for the sake of keyword research.

The point is that you don’t have to pay a lot if you are only keen or strategic enough to spy on your competitor’s best-performing keywords.
If you do, you’re able to target the type of audience with the highest engagement potential. The right people to promote your product, that is. To do that, you have to understand the effort of seeking them. Do you understand what I mean?
You have to know where they lurk or what they do to target them as properly as you can. The effective ways to do are the ones Roope and I suggested above. These won’t cost you anything at all, including Wealthy Affiliate.
